Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary focus will be on preventing unauthorized access, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras to detect and prevent potential security breaches
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any security vulnerabilities or hazards
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry for visitors and employees
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance as needed
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to investigate and resolve security issues
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain necessary WSGC license as required by state regulations (Background checks are obtained)
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices
- Familiarity with first aid techniques and emergency response procedures
- Experience in loss prevention or conflict management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
