The Security Management Section with King County's Facilities Management Division (FMD) is looking to hire a Security Sergeantto focus on the ongoing security services training requirements and needs. The Security Management team provides physical building security, building access and control, operates an emergency dispatch center, and manages lost and found processes.? This position is responsible for developing and implementing a training program for security staff, managing certification and recertification requirements, training security staff, and implementing security programs, policies and procedures and ensuring that proper protocols are followed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position is non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
- The Security Management Section operates on a 24/7 schedule.
- The standard work week for this position is 40 hours.
- This position is represented by the King County Security Guild.
