Job Title: Security System Technician
Department: Projects Department
Reporting to: Project Management / Operations Manager
Responsible for: Security system installations
Summary of position: FAR West Technologies is currently seeking security system technicians specializing in access control, video surveillance (CCTV), burglar alarm systems to perform installations in the western Washington area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs project installations from start up to completion
- Oversees onsite field labor of all project installations
- Works closely with other trades
- Works closely with FWT customers
- Other field management duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Low voltage industry knowledge in the video surveillance, access control, burglar alarm industry
- Previous project foreman responsibilities
